Every so often we want to find out more about how to inspire you to continue searching out, trying and insisting on only the best beers. Two winners have emerged to ‘Where did you have your first & where did you have your last beer?’
First Beer: I was 15 years old (and I must add I do not condone this) and it was during the 1998 World Cup. It was England Vs Tunisia and it was an early kick off and it was during the week as I remember me and a few lads skipped off school at lunch time (again I do not condone this) and we went to a mates house to watch Englands opener. I remember the day being warm, the sun was shinning and England had beaten Tunisia 2-0 with the mighty Shearer scoring! As England had won and the sun was shinning we thought it would be a good idea to break into my mate's dads fresh new box of ice cold Fosters! (Chosen because the judge is from Oz – rigged!)
Last Beer: My last one was at (ahem) an All Bar One this lunchtime, for a work colleagues leaving do. I didn't fancy sharing the Pinot Grigio, so ordered myself a bottle of Meantime Chocolate Porter (has to b healthier than actual chocolate, right?). However, I don't know if this counts as everyone was so intrigued by it, I let them try it, so there was very little left for me to drink in the end! (You deserve it for sharing the good stuff!)
Next Question: Where is the most unusual or memorable place you have ever had a beer?
